Alfa is able to produce really tasty vapor even with small amounts of herbs thanks to a unique container for conduction vaporization. Normally, the vaporizers that work based on this method of heating, use all of the heat derived from the heating element to affect the chamber walls, but Alfa has an additional pin element fitted inside the heating chamber, which expands this range so that the studded material heats up not only from the outside but also from the inside. This advantage of a greater uniformity of vaporization makes blending between sessions (which is normal for most conductive vaporizers) unnecessarily.

An outstanding characteristic of this vaporizer is its ability to produce really tasty clouds with just short, 2-3 second draws. If instead of pulling hard to release great clouds of vapor, you prefer some slow and delicate draws, you will fall in love with Alfie. It is, of course, capable of producing thick vapor, but if this is what you particularly care about, there are better-suited devices such as Arizer Air, Crafty or Firefly.

Alfa is equipped with temperature controls – either manual or automatic. You can use the knob to select one of three levels of temperature or set the automatic A/T, which starts at the lowest temperature and finishes on a maximal value during the 20-minute session. If you have a little less time, there is nothing to worry about – just set the automatic A/P, which gives a jump of temperature by 3° C after each draw. Do you like it? We like it very much! Remember also that good grinding of herbs beforehand allows you to enjoy the optimum effects later on.

The battery life, depending on which level of temperature you’re using, ranges from 60 to 90 minutes, which is an impressive result, given the small size of the device. It takes about three hours for the battery to be fully charged but the device can also be used while connected to power supply.

Alfa is a device that’s definitely worth recommending. Demanding users who like to slowly enjoy the high quality of vapor will surely enjoy it.
