Unlike other resin extraction technologies, pressing results in a high quality, solvent-free cannabis concentrate that is rich in terpenes and has a distinctive taste. To achieve the best results with a press, you only need three ingredients: heat, pressure and plant material. There is no need to use solvents. Presses have evolved dynamically in recent times and can now produce controlled levels of heat and pressure to produce material of exceptional quality. Too much heat in the extraction process would degrade the terpenes and cannabinoids in the final product. In order to reduce the heat, higher pressures need to be applied.
