CBD oils and drops 15%

CBD oils and drops are a hemp extract, it is a combination of a cannabinoid extract from the cannabis plant and a carrier oil. Carrier oils are used to dilute the CBD and improve bioavailability. Most commonly used are vegetable glycerin or vegetable oils such as MCT (coconut, palm oil), sunflower, olive, avocado or hemp seed oil.

MCT oil (medium chain triglyceride oil) tends to be the most common choice for hemp oil production and has the longest shelf life compared to other carrier oils, and hemp oil is most commonly used to produce CBD oil. 

CBD oil with 15% CBD contains 15% CBD and 85% carrier. Thus, a 15ml bottle will contain 2.25ml of CBD, and this is equivalent to 2,250mg of CBD. 15% CBD concentration is suitable for users who are not complete novices.

Depending on the content of other cannabinoids and phytonutrients, the types of CBD products are divided into:

• Full-spectrum: contain CBD and other cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other ingredients, including a minimal amount of THC.
• Broad-spectrum: do not contain THC but contain other cannabinoids (CBC, CBN, CBG and CBDA); phytocompounds vary by manufacturer. 
• Isolates: contain only CBD; cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and other substances are removed from the cannabis.

CBD isolates have the longest shelf life and are considered the purest form, as the higher the purity of CBD, the longer the shelf life of the product. Full spectrum and broad spectrum CBD oils contain more plant material and biologically active substances, resulting in a shorter shelf life.

When individual cannabinoids and other active substances complement each other, their effect can be enhanced, the so-called 'entourage effect'. This effect can be encountered with full-spectrum and broad-spectrum products.
