CBD Oils and Drops 30 %

CBD oils and drops are a hemp extract, it is a combination of a cannabinoid extract from the cannabis plant and a carrier oil. Carrier oils are used to dilute the CBD and improve bioavailability. Most commonly used are vegetable glycerin or vegetable oils such as MCT (coconut, palm oil), sunflower, olive, avocado or hemp seed oil.

MCT oil (medium-chain triglyceride oil) is predominantly used to produce hemp oil, as it offers the longest shelf life of the product compared to other carriers. For CBD oils, hemp oil is the most common carrier.

A concentration of oil and CBD drops with 30% means that 30% is CBD and 70% is carrier. If you buy a 10ml bottle there will be 3ml of CBD in it, which is equivalent to 3,000mg.

Depending on the content of cannabinoids and other phytochemicals, you can get the following types of CBD oils:

• Full spectrum - full spectrum contain CBD and other cannabinoids, including small amounts of THC, terpenes, flavonoids and other constituents.
• Broad spectrum - broad spectrum also contain other cannabinoids (CBG, CBN, CBC, CBDA) and various phytochemical profiles that vary by manufacturer, and contain no THC.
• CBD isolates - contain only CBD, other cannabinoids and other substances are removed.

The purer the CBD, the longer the presumed shelf life. Full spectrum and broad spectrum products have a shorter shelf life because they contain more botanicals and other biologically active substances. In contrast, CBD isolates, which are considered to be the purest form, have the longest shelf life.

Full spectrum and broad spectrum products can cause an entourage effect. This can occur when cannabinoids and other substances in the oil interact. In the case of isolates, this effect cannot be expected.
