TERPENES
Terpenoids, also referred to as terpenes, are the largest group of natural compounds. Many terpenes have biological activities and are used in pharmaceutics and cosmetics for the treatment of various human diseases.
Together with Cannabidiol we used many different terpenoids in following range of hemp oils to give extra health benefits.

| Alpha-pinene | It is found in the oils of many species of many coniferous trees, notably the pine, but also in cannabis plant and rosemary. α-Pinene is an anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial. It exhibits activity as an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor, aiding memory. |
| Citral | Citral is present in the oils of several plants, including lemon myrtle, Litsea citrate, Litsea cubeba, lemongrass, lemon tea-tree. Citral has sedative, antiviral and antibacterial effects. |
| Myrcene | Essential oil obtained from bay, cannabis, ylang-ylang, wild thyme, parsley, cardamom, and hops. Contributes to sedative effect of strong indicas, sleep aid and muscle relaxant. |
| Thymol | It is found in oil of thyme. Thymol is used for bronchitis treatments and for antiseptic purposes. |
| Terpinene-4-ol | It is considered the primary active ingredient of tea tree oil. It is known for it anti-parasitic, anti-microbial and anti-bacterial properties. |
| Sabinene | It is isolated from the essential oils of a variety of plants including holm oak and Norway spruce. Sabinene exhibits strong to moderate anti-bacterial activity against gram positive bacteria and anti-fungal activity against pathogenic fungi. |
