Hemp Dad's tip: One tablespoon a day is a great prevention against many civilisation diseases

Hemp oil finds its use in both cold cooking and skin care. It contains many active substances such as vitamins A, D and E, calcium, magnesium, iron and potassium. It is particularly notable for its essential fatty acid content in an excellent ratio of omega 3 and omega 6. Vitamin E in particular is known as a powerful antioxidant and thus protects our cells from free radicals.
Using hemp oil

Use in the kitchen

Ideal as a flavouring agent in cold cooking. As it is virgin pressed, i.e. pressed at low temperatures up to 40ºC, it is not suitable for any heat treatment. Due to its slightly nutty flavour, it can change or elevate the character of a dish. Be sure to try it on a variety of vegetable salads. Together with a little salt, it can also make fresh chopped vegetables such as carrots, kohlrabi, peppers or cucumber more flavourful. A few drops of hemp oil on grilled vegetables or meat will make your dining experience more enjoyable. It can also be used to drizzle over pasta. Children especially love spaghetti with hemp oil. They won't remember ketchup at all :)

Skin care

Because hemp oil is hypoallergenic, it is suitable for the delicate skin of children, as well as for the care of various eczema and generally sensitive skin. It can soften and moisturize the skin, slow down skin aging and can reduce wrinkles. Ladies will also appreciate hemp oil for alleviating the symptoms of orange skin (cellulite). The oil is very well absorbed and the skin does not remain oily after use. In particular, hemp oil is praised as a helper in exfoliation and subsequent treatment of the skin before bedtime. Drop a few drops on a make-up remover pad and test its effects yourself.

The effects of hemp oil

Hemp oil is a useful household helper, and in addition to the aforementioned uses, it was also previously used on burns and to aid the healing of various lacerations and cuts. Hemp oil is naturally anti-inflammatory. Thus, you can use it for acne, eczema, cold sores, redness of the skin, or to reduce wrinkles. When taken internally, it has a positive effect on cholesterol and blood sugar levels. It is used as a prevention against civilization diseases such as diabetes, myocardial infarction, hypertension, constipation, obesity, depression or Alzheimer's disease.

So don't hesitate to add hemp oil to one meal a day or have a spoonful of oil just like that.
