Hemp coffee is strong and yet has a subtle nutty flavour that is typical of both hemp seeds and hemp oil. The coffee is 100% Arabica and has a hint of dark chocolate. At the same time, it has minimal acidity. We mix the hemp seeds together with the coffee in the ideal ratio, according to our own recipe. We have managed to capture the uniqueness of both ingredients.

 

PREPARATION OF HEMP COFFEE

Hemp coffee is ground as universally as possible. We are aware that the strength of the grind also influences the final taste. You can pour your coffee "on the rocks", prepare it in a lever coffee machine, in a French press, as well as as filtered or drip coffee.

 

EFFECTS OF HEMP COFFEE

Caffeine will give you new energy and increase your concentration. It also supports the entire central nervous system and the heart.  The antioxidants that are in both coffee and hemp seeds can contribute to mental well-being, slow aging, improve the immune system and protect against heart disease. The protein in hemp seeds also gives you a feeling of fullness. 

 

PRODUCTION OF HEMP COFFEE

We prepare hemp coffee together with Don Franko, a local family-owned roaster of fine coffee. Together we have selected a suitable coffee and found the ideal ratio of hemp seed content. The family roastery is gradually being built together by the Frankos. They pride themselves on quality coffee and take great care to roast it correctly. They roast in such a way as to extract as many essential oils as possible, which give the coffee its flavour. Their coffee is delicious, fresh and reveals a variety of flavours. When prepared correctly, you will discover fruity to floral flavours as well as earthiness and strength.
