Muscle and Joint Relief Balm - CBD relief balm is an easy to spread oil gel that speeds up recovery after sports performance, serves to warm and massage stiff muscles and get the blood flowing. We recommend using this strongly blood-permeating and warming oil gel for massaging strained muscles, after a warm bath or sauna, when the heat opens the pores and thus accelerates the penetration of active substances into the skin.
The balm for muscle and joint relaxation is based on an extremely effective synergy of CBD and CBG with traditional herbal macerates and CO 2 extracts of ginger and chilli.
These ingredients make it an anti-inflammatory oil gel that also acts as a mild anaesthetic.
It can also be used for treating cold extremities and for faster healing of bruises, swellings and contusions.
- Ginger CO 2 extract its main bioactive, anti-inflammatory component is the contained 6- gingerol. Clinical studies have demonstrated the effectiveness of ginger against chronic pain, rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, and joint and muscle pain.
- Chilli CO 2 extract has a thermogenic effect and stimulates blood flow, it is also used to treat cellulite. It warms and relieves headaches, rheumatism, muscle pain. Chilli and its active compound capsaicin are effective for chronic pain e.g. rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, back pain, headaches, myalgia.
- St. John's wort oil (macerate in olive oil) has highly regenerative effects on healed skin after burns, minor wounds, abrasions and bruises. It is suitable for strengthening massage. It is not a good idea to expose yourself to sunlight after application, as St. John's wort is photosensitive.
- Arnica (macerate in soya oil) has been used for centuries to treat haematomas, bruises, sprains and associated swellings caused by sports injuries or accidents, for inflammation of muscles and joints, especially in the acute stages of chronic arthritic conditions. Improves blood circulation.
- Poppy seed oil is great for regeneration, containing high amounts of magnesium and calcium.
- Hemp oil has anti-inflammatory and soothing effects. Contains omega unsaturated fatty acids.
Warning: do not apply to face (and near eyes). Use only on intact skin (no wounds or cuts), so avoid wounds and mucous membranes, keep out of reach of children.
Cosmetic use: do not use during pregnancy.
