Originally, the nameless soap was produced in the cellar of Schicht's house, but thanks to an ingenious business strategy, the small family manufactory developed into a whole industry with its own factory. Soon the company had just under two thousand employees, several plants and five thousand orders from one hundred thousand loyal customers a day. The trademark is an artistically depicted deer, which has become a symbol of purity and fabulous business success. The traditional cube of solidified fat soap is still in use today, and the company has expanded its range to include a full spectrum of practical products that respond to the needs of today.

Jelen has launched a hemp range of washing gels and fabric softener. The products are suitable for washing both white and coloured laundry. The formula is based on core soap and like the soap, the washing gel is effective, nature and skin friendly. Compared to powder, it is easier to handle and, thanks to its good solubility, it does not settle in the washing machine. If there is high humidity in the room, there is no risk that it will harden and cannot be used. You can also add a pleasantly aromatic fabric softener to the washing process. Its main ingredient is a plant-derived cationic tenside, which together with hemp oil will make the laundry soft and gentle. Thanks to its vegetable origin, the tenside is also ecological and biodegradable in nature.
