PAX3 vaporizer review
Perhaps you find my introduction barking up the wrong tree, but I got to admit that all manufacturers should approach the making of their products the same way. I had two weeks to test the PAX 3, and its latest rave of the top-notch aluminum design would not stop to amaze me all the time. Shall we take a look at it?
Design
If you have had the PAX experience before, you will immediately notice that it looks almost like the PAX 2. For the most part, the design remains unchanged - the dimensions, heating chamber, airflow, or mouthpiece. Everything is essentially the same.
The PAX 3 also has the same elegant, robust and anodized aluminum cover, which is sophisticated enough, making the device a perfect fit for formal occasions. At the same time, it is solid and durable so that you can pack it in a backpack to take it outdoors.
Furthermore, you can choose the color of the PAX 3 you like the most. Its beautiful information (also colorful) LED display provides precise info about the device supported by vibration signalizing when the device is ready. Believe me that you will appreciate this feature.
The PAX 3 works practically the same as its predecessor; however, with one addition – it is now equipped with a Bluetooth connection, which I will discuss later. When it comes to quality, the vaporizer is above reproach. Well, the manufacturer is so confident about the quality, they even offer a 10-year warranty.
Brevity is the soul of wit
Practically everything is user-friendly designed. The functionality of the device is based on the use of a single button. Moreover, you will come across the most elegant solution when you get to open the herb chamber. Opening is easier than replacing batteries in a remote control car. The cap is held in place by strong magnets. To remove it, you need to press it with a finger on one side. I think this is a practically unbreakable system, so thumbs up for that.
The PAX 3 mobile app
I have come to the earlier promised discussion of using the Bluetooth connection, which helps control the device with a smartphone. Not only can the vaporization temperature be conveniently adjusted in the app, but it also offers various heating modes, which dramatically expands vaping options for the user.

Herbs and extracts
Pax Labs decided to add a modified lid to the regular herbal chamber, allowing the use of fewer botanical, which the PAX 2 users would wish quite a lot. Thanks to a special insert, the user can vape not only herb material but also oils and concentrates with the new PAX 3.
Fast heating, high-quality steam
The first activation amplified my delight when the vaporizer heated up so fast. The PAX 3 uses conduction heating, the same as its predecessor and the vast majority of portable vaporizers on the market. The steam produced by the PAX 3 is fine thanks to the different heating settings modes, which can be primarily adjusted according to the user's preferences. From my experience, it proved pretty practical to use well-dried herbs during the vape.
Heating modes in the PAX 3 app
Standard
This is the basic setting, increasing the heating chamber's temperature by five degrees Celsius during the vape, which does not fall below the set value thanks to that.
Flavor
This mode works similarly to the previous one. It, however, regulates the temperature much quicker. Thanks to this, the taste and aroma are preserved better between each vape.
Boost
This mode is best suited for users who like efficient vaping. The result is thicker steam.
Efficiency
It provides a slow temperature increase by one degree during the vape.
Stealth
The name of this mode accurately captures its function. The temperature decreases much more swiftly between each vape, keeping the released smell to a minimum.
Stronger battery
What immensely pleased me was a more powerful battery compared to the previous model. In figures, the 500 mAh increase does not seem significant. However, it means two, maybe three different vapes in reality, which can be a considerable difference if you do not have the immediate option to recharge the device. Considering that a full recharge takes only about an hour and a half via USB, I show my thumbs up again.
Rating
The PAX 3 is one of the best portable vaporizers suitable for both herbs and concentrates on the market. It offers first-class performance. Moreover, when using a smartphone connection, users get to have an actual 21st-century device at hand. Everything is underlined by the ultra-fast heating system and more than sufficient battery life, qualities that are crucial for a portable vaporizer. The 10-year warranty provided by the manufacturer makes it an excellent and convenient investment that will surely pay off in the long run.

The PAX 3 is a mighty, durable, and elegant vaporizer that is as simple to operate as it can be. It will undoubtedly be popular not only for newbies but also for experienced users.
