CBD capsule dosage and its pitfalls

CBD capsules require a gradual onset

For many years, cannabis has been under fire for its psychoactive effects. However, as the individual components and their potential impact on promoting human health are slowly being revealed, the focus is shifting away from tetrahydrocannabinoids. TO CBD. Research points to potential benefits such as improved sleep quality, pain relief and inflammation, alleviation of depression and anxiety, and a host of other benefits. Cannabidiol can also be taken as a preventative measure to boost immunity and increase defences against external influences.

Natural treatments have much looser dosage rules than prescription drugs. However, with CBD, you need to be careful to use a reasonable amount and take it in smaller doses or according to what you want to achieve. Just to give you an idea, if you're consuming CBD capsules for sleep problems, you'll probably get by with smaller doses than if you're taking them for depression or lupus.

However, an overdose with serious side effects or consequences is not imminent (in extreme cases, dizziness or indigestion), nor is the development of dependence.

CBD oil has no mustr for doses

CBD is usually taken in the form of drops or tinctures. It is not pleasant to apply under the tongue, but the sublingual method is clearly the most effective. Each dose is divided into three parts. The first is absorbed immediately through the veins under the tongue, the second enters the body through the mucous membranes in the mouth, and the third is swallowed and passes through the entire digestive tract. This way, there is no need to wait for the first manifestations, while the duration of the effects of CBD drops is spread over a longer period of time. Not to mention the minimal loss of absorption into the bloodstream and good bioavailability.

The situation is different with capsules. The most important difference concerns potency. It is lower than with classic drops, where the onset of effects is relatively fast. This cannot be said of capsules. On the other hand, they compensate for the slow response of the organism with a longer duration of action. It is therefore ideal to take the oil during the day, when you need to feel the change immediately, and the capsules in the evening, so that the effects last for most of the night. For the former, you have to wait even more than an hour, which is due to the fact that the substances are not released right at the beginning as drops, but have to pass into the digestive tract. But then they are "in office" for about eight hours. Besides, you don't have to overdo it and get used to the distinctive taste of CBD oil. The capsules are neutral, easy to swallow and fit into your daily routine.

The basic dosage breakdown is related to the purpose for which you intend to take CBD capsules. However, this is an approximate amount and the result is always subject to the needs of the individual.

Prevention: 2.1 - 15 mg CBD per day

Chronic pain: 2.5 - 20 mg CBD daily for three weeks

Sleep disorders: 40 - 160 mg CBD daily

Epilepsy: 200 - 300 mg CBD daily for 4 months

Depression: 5 - 10 mg CBD daily

Lyme disease: 20 - 60 mg CBD daily

Tinnitus: 5 - 10 mg CBD daily (half in the morning, the other in the evening)

It is up to the manufacturer how much oil they squeeze into one capsule. Commonly, the amount is around 10 mg. But there are of course weaker and stronger variants. According to the parameters of one capsule and the intake within one day, you need to adjust the regular doses.

It makes no sense to push the saw

It depends on many factors such as gender, weight, stress level, physical constitution, metabolic rate or age, which in older people limits cannabinoid production. While CBD use is becoming more common, it requires supervision and discretion. Taking more CBD to speed up treatment or to get rid of health complications will not help. Cannabidiol doesn't work that way. Consult your doctor, be aware of your body and respond to all its signals to see if it is benefiting from cannabidiol or not. Contact a retailer who will advise you on the choice and recommend the ideal 'tailor-made' product. This should take into account, among other things, commonly used prescription drugs, pregnancy and breastfeeding for women, and general health.
