Design

The Arizer V Tower is a less complex, shaved down version of the Arizer Extreme-Q desktop vaporizer, with the main difference being that the Tower is tubing only, while the Extreme-Q can use both tubing and balloons. In terms of design, this means that the V Tower looks just like the Extreme-Q. It has the same cylindrical body on a flat disc with the display and controls on the bottom of the body. The difference between the two is that the Tower has a stainless steel finish instead of the glossy black finish of the Extreme-Q. It's still a formidable design that could still lend itself to an obscure kitchen appliance.

Since the V Tower is a simpler version of the Extreme-Q, it doesn't have a remote control or a silent jet fan. However, the impressive build is definitely shared by both vaporizers as they are very solidly made devices that use only high quality materials. The construction is housed in two layers of aluminum, making this a lightweight yet sturdy and durable desktop vaporizer. Because the V Tower is simpler, it means that there is a smaller set of accessories and components, so assembly is quick and easy.

Functions

In addition to the high quality of the build, the exceptional feature of the V Tower vaporizer is its price, it is one of the cheapest desktop vaporizers available. In fact, there are mid-range portable vaporizers such as the Arizer Solo 2 that cost more than the V Tower. Affordability isn't always the main thing with vaporizers, but it definitely is in this case.

How to use it

  • Put the freshly crushed herb into the black end of the cyclone kettle.
  • Connect the white end of the cyclone container to the device.
  • Connect the hose adapter to the cyclone boiler.
  • Switch on the device and select the temperature.
  • When the temperature is reached, inhale from the mouthpiece.

Cleaning and maintenance

You only need to replace the hose every two months or so, but you will need to clean the various glass pieces fairly regularly. Clean them by soaking them in isopropyl alcohol for about half an hour and then rinsing them with warm water. For more stubborn residues, you can use a cotton swab dipped in isopropyl alcohol to clean them.

Power

It heats up quite slowly in theTower, taking about five minutes to get to a higher temperature. Yes, it takes a while, but that's standard with most desktop tubing vaporizers. The body stays cool during heating, so handling is always safe. The tubing can be easily rotated 360°, allowing access from any angle.

Vapour quality

The V Tower vapor quality is excellent, and it should come as no surprise that it is just as good as the Extreme-Q. The glass cyclone kettle and L-connector keep the steam free of any impurities, and the elongated three-foot hose keeps the steam cool. As with the Extreme-Q, the ideal temperature setting is between 775°C and 200°C. And, as with the Extreme-Q, it's better to set the temperature a few degrees higher than you want because the kettle is positioned slightly higher than the heating element. Coating resistance is low, and although the Tower lacks a jet fan pushing steam through the tube, you won't miss this feature.
