Official accessories
You can purchase substitutes for all the different components on the Arizer website. Additional fixings, such as curved embouchure, make it a bit easier to vape. If you desire even cleaner and colder steam, you can purchase an extender connecting Air 2 with a water bubbler.
Design
Air 2 has a slender cylindrical shape, so it's comfortable to hold, reach the buttons, and it's easy to change the embouchure. Air 2 is slightly bigger to be considered mobile, and it won't fit in your pocket.
Air 2 is slimmer but with its 12cm long body longer than his brother Arizer Solo 2. If you would like to own a portable device, you should get a type such as Arizer Go.
When taking Arizer 2 to go, you will need a bigger purse, backpack, or the original mobile case. That offers several practical compartments to store embouchure and additional battery 18650. The removable battery is always a plus. Air 2 excels with its shape, but the design is rather average.
Features
The specific feature of all Arizer vaporizers, including Air 2, is embouchure from borosilicate glass. It offers a unique form of filling the herbs in; its length helps to keep the steam cold and used material clean, as it does not affect its taste.
More so, it downgrades resistance when vaping. A disadvantage would be its mobility when connected to the vaporizer. Whenever you are taking Air 2 with you, you need to carry both of these components.
How to use It
- Switch on Air 2 by holding the charging button for 3 seconds
- Using the arrows, choose the desired temperature
- Insert the base of the embouchure into the ground herbs, then withdraw and tap the load to make a slight gap between the herbs and base opening.
- Insert the embouchure into the pot and inhale the steam
Cleaning and maintenance
Air 2 is a low-maintenance device, so you don't spend unnecessary time cleaning it. If you have to clean it, it's enough to dip the embouchure into an isopropyl alcohol bath for several hours and then wash it with hot water. It is best to clean it immediately after the session while the leftover herbs are still warm. If you leave it to be cool and dry, cleaning will get more challenging.
Vaporizer output
Air 2 needs a long time before it warms up. In actuality, it is more than one minute, which is quite a long time for a vaporizer. When used, it stays cold, and the air circulation enables you to drag massive amounts of steam filling your lungs or small decent gulps.
Steam quality
Glassed embouchure is the star again, as it makes the steam fresh, cold and as there are no impurities, you will always get the full taste of the herb.
Air 2 has a wide temperature range from 50°C to 220°C, but I kept my degree in between 175 °C to 200 °C, as that offers the best taste. It is excellent you don't get huge clouds when vaping, as it keeps it discreet when vaping outside. As mentioned before, the resistance of air streaming is low, so it's effortless to enjoy soothing steam.
Battery Output
Removable battery 18650 has a 3200 mAh capacity, and it holds for approximately 65 to 80 minutes, which is quite decent. Worse would be the charging, which takes about two hours. Luckily there are ways to make the waiting tolerable. First of all, you can carry on vaping while Air 2 is being charged, or you can remove the battery and insert a new one. That means you never have to stop vaping for a long time.
