What is 10-OH-HHC?
10-OH-HHC (10-hydroxy-hexahydrocannabinol) is a hydroxy derivative of hexahydrocannabinol (HHC). It is formed by the oxidation of HHC, which is handled by the enzyme cytochrome P450, found mainly in the liver.
10-OH-HHC has a hydroxyl group (-OH) added at the 10th position of the hexahydrocannabinol nucleus, which consists of 1 oxygen atom covalently bonded to 1 hydrogen atom.
The compound 10-OH-HHC is designated as a (semi)synthetic cannabinoid.

Effects of 10-OH-HHC
Research on 10-OH-HHC is just starting, and it is thought to have cannabimimetic activity, meaning that it may mimic the effects of THC, HHC and other cannabinoids.
10-OH-HHC has psychoactive effects, although probably less intense than HHC or THC.
Users may experience euphoria, relaxation, changes in perception or increased appetite.
10-OH-HHC has low bioavailability and a short half-life in the body. The half-life is the time it takes for the concentration of cannabinoids to be halved in the blood due to metabolism and excretion. Thus, the effects of 10-OH-HHC are likely to last for a shorter period of time than those of HHC.
